Most people in this group don't think of themselves as anxious.
They think of themselves as thoughtful. Responsible. Caring. They're the ones who try to see every angle before making a decision, who notice what other people need, who think ahead, plan ahead, and work hard to avoid mistakes.
These strategies often make sense. At some point, they probably helped you navigate a world that felt uncertain, overwhelming, or unpredictable.
But over time, what began as a way to stay safe can become exhausting. You may find yourself replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, carrying responsibility for everyone around you, or feeling like your mind never truly gets a chance to rest.
Beyond Overthinking is an 8-week virtual therapy group for adults in California and Washington who are ready to understand the patterns beneath chronic worry, perfectionism, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm. Through psychoeducation, mindfulness and somatic practices, experiential exercises, guided reflection, and supportive discussion, we'll explore why these patterns develop, what keeps them in place, and how to build a different relationship with uncertainty, emotions, and yourself.
This group isn't about getting rid of anxiety. It's about developing the awareness, skills, and self-trust to stop letting anxiety run the show.
What you'll work toward

- Learn practical tools for emotional regulation
- Increase self-compassion and reduce self-criticism
- Strengthen self-trust and confidence in decision-making

- Build supportive connections with others facing similar challenges
How sessions work
This structured therapy group combines psychoeducation, mindfulness-based practices, somatic awareness, experiential exercises, guided reflection, and facilitated discussion.
